The EDP/DP to LVDS adapter board converts EDP/DP signals into LVDS signals through high-performance IC, which can light up 10.1-55 inch universal LVDS screens and support common resolutions below 1920*1200. The LVDS output resolution is adaptive according to the EDP input resolution. The LVDS follows the EDP forced input. The LVDS output can choose the resolution corresponding to single/dual channels. For example, the EDP input is 1366*768, and this resolution corresponds to a single 8-bit LVDS signal. The adapter board needs to select a single channel on the S1 jumper to output 1366*768. The LVDS output signal format also supports VESA/JEDIA selected by the jumper, and the default is VESA format.
Adapter board power supply configuration;
The adapter board is powered by a combination of EDP screen drive voltage 3.3V (only 3.3V) and backlight power supply 12V. The LVDS screen drive voltage output can be selected as 3.3V, 5V, 12V output, so the output screen drive voltage needs to be selected according to the LVDS screen drive voltage. The adapter board is shipped at 5V by default.
Adapter board backlight voltage configuration;
The 12V and ADJ output of the adapter board backlight follows the backlight voltage input of the motherboard EDP (pass-through), and the signal of the EN pin (enable pin) is controlled by the adapter board.
